Bij een specialist in industriële automatisering in Amsterdam werk je aan besturingsoplossingen voor tankterminals, voedingsmiddelenproductie, energie en infrastructuur. Als Automation Engineer vertaal je procesvragen naar functionele en technische ontwerpen en realiseer je software in Siemens PCS7. Je bent betrokken bij het hele traject: van de eerste ontwerpkeuzes tot implementatie, inbedrijfstelling en acceptatie op locatie. Zo zie je hoe jouw software zich in de praktijk gedraagt en bijdraagt aan betrouwbare installaties. In je dagelijkse werk stem je af met collega's uit Electrical, Process en IT Engineering. Je bespreekt technische keuzes met de opdrachtgever, rechtstreeks of via de lead engineer, en onderzoekt samen hoe de besturing aansluit op het proces. Naast programmeren en testen denk je mee over betere engineeringwerkwijzen binnen de softwareafdeling. Opleidingen en ruimte voor nieuwe engineeringstools helpen je om je PCS7-kennis verder te verdiepen. Functie-inhoud - Je vertaalt procesvragen naar een functioneel softwareontwerp. - Je werkt technische ontwerpen voor de besturing uit. - Je programmeert en test besturingssoftware in Siemens PCS7. - Je verzorgt de implementatie, inbedrijfstelling en Site Acceptance Test (SAT). - Je stemt technische keuzes af met opdrachtgevers en de lead engineer. - Je werkt samen met Electrical, Process en IT Engineering en verbetert softwarewerkwijzen. Functie-eisen - Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding in elektrotechniek, industriële automatisering of een verwante richting. - Je hebt minimaal twee jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare engineeringfunctie. - Je hebt ervaring met programmeren in Siemens PCS7. - Je communiceert goed in het Nederlands met collega's en opdrachtgevers. - Je werkt graag multidisciplinair en zoekt samen naar technisch passende oplossingen. - Je wilt je verdiepen in nieuwe technieken en engineeringstools.
