The posting

Bij een ontwikkelaar en producent van brandsimulatiesystemen in Tilburg werk je aan besturingen voor realistische trainingen van brandweer, defensie en hulpverleners. Als Automation Engineer vertaal je projectopdrachten naar ontwerpen voor schakelkasten en bijbehorende PLC- en HMI-software. Je verbindt de functionele eisen met een veilige, maakbare technische oplossing. Daarbij combineer je elektrische schema’s met oorzaak-gevolgdiagrammen en toets je het ontwerp aan geldende normen en regelgeving. In de dagelijkse praktijk stel je specificaties op voor de softwareprogrammeur, configureer je besturingssoftware en controleer je berekeningen en ontwerpkeuzes. Je overlegt met andere engineers, servicecollega’s en de werkplaats om technische vragen op te lossen. Binnen een nieuwe bedrijfseenheid krijg je ruimte om mee te bouwen en je verder te verdiepen in besturingsveiligheid en de samenhang tussen hardware en software. Je werkt deels op afstand en reist maximaal 25% van je werktijd. Functie-inhoud - Vertalen van projectvereisten naar ontwerpen voor schakelkasten en besturingssoftware - Opstellen van ontwerpspecificaties voor de softwareprogrammeur en configureren van PLC- en HMI-software - Uitwerken van veilige besturingen met elektrische schema’s en oorzaak-gevolgdiagrammen - Uitvoeren van berekeningen, controles en analyses voor maakbaarheid, kwaliteit en normconformiteit - Technisch ondersteunen van engineers, servicecollega’s en medewerkers in de werkplaats - Bijdragen aan elektrische schema’s, materiaalspecificaties en stuklijsten in het ERP-systeem Functie-eisen - Je hebt een hbo-bachelor industriële automatisering en enkele jaren ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie - Je bent bekend met PLC-programmering in Siemens TIA Portal - Kennis van EPLAN en SISTEMA is een pré - Je beheerst MS Office; ervaring met een ERP-systeem is een pré - Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Engels; Nederlands is een pré - Je werkt zelfstandig én samen, stelt prioriteiten en lost techn.
