Bij een chemische productielocatie in Dordrecht werk je aan de betrouwbaarheid en verbetering van procesautomatisering en besturingssystemen. Als Automation & Process Control Engineer ben je binnen het Manufacturing Technology-team betrokken bij DCS, PLC’s, SCADA en beveiligingssystemen. Je werk varieert van het verbeteren van één regelloop tot het vervangen van besturingssystemen en het ontwikkelen van complexe regelingen. Daarbij houd je steeds rekening met procesveiligheid, productkwaliteit en de continuïteit van de productie. In de dagelijkse praktijk ondersteun je de operatie bij procesbesturingsvraagstukken, ook bij processen met een verhoogd risico. Je werkt samen met collega’s uit het process control-team, productie en procestechnologie en draagt vanuit je specialisme bij aan investeringsprojecten. Door bestaande regelingen te analyseren en nieuwe toepassingen te ontwikkelen, verdiep je je kennis van geavanceerde procesbesturing en de samenhang tussen chemische processen en automatisering. Functie-inhoud - Onderhouden en verbeteren van DCS-, PLC-, SCADA- en procesbeveiligingssystemen - Analyseren en optimaliseren van regellussen en complexe procesregelingen - Dagelijks ondersteunen van de operatie bij procesbesturing van risicovolle processen - Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van geavanceerde procesbesturingstoepassingen met productie en procestechnologie - Bijdragen aan investeringsprojecten, waaronder vervanging en vernieuwing van besturingssystemen - Signaleren van automatiseringskansen voor hogere productiviteit en betere productkwaliteit Functie-eisen - Hbo- of wo-werk- en -denkniveau in industriële automatisering, elektrotechniek of een verwante technische richting - Ervaring met procesautomatisering in de chemie of een vergelijkbare procesindustrie - Kennis van DCS, PLC’s, SCADA en de samenhang tussen deze systemen - Inzicht in regeltechniek, procesdynamiek en het optimaliseren van regellussen - Zorgvuldige werkwijze bij wijzigingen aan besturingen en p.
