Als bandenmonteur ben je binnen de werkplaats verantwoordelijk voor het monteren, balanceren, herstellen en vervangen van banden van de meest uiteenlopende voertuigen. Dankzij jouw expertise kun je alle taken volledig zelfstandig uitvoeren. Je zorgt voor een snelle, kwaliteitsvolle service met het oog op veiligheid en klanttevredenheid, en je deelt jouw kennis graag door startende collega’s te begeleiden.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Bandenmontage & Uitlijning: Je voert bandenmontages en wieluitlijningen uit op personenwagens, lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen, vrachtwagens tot zelfs voertuigen uit de landbouw en burgerlijke bouwkunde. Je balanceert wielen, vervangt ventielen en herinitialiseert indien nodig het bandendrukcontrolesysteem.
  • Herstellingen & Herprofilering: Je herstelt lekke banden met de juiste methode (zoals combi-pleisters of koud vulkaniseren). Daarnaast behoort het herprofileren (uitsnijden) van banden van zware bedrijfs- en vrachtwagens tot jouw specialisme.
  • Advies & Inspectie: Je interpreteert bandenslijtage of beschadigingen en controleert banden op spanning en conformiteit. Je adviseert en informeert de klant professioneel over de staat van hun banden. Je hebt tevens basiskennis van remsystemen om eventuele afwijkingen op te merken.
  • Voorbereiding & Werkplaatsbeheer: Je bereidt het voertuig en de werkplek netjes voor (inclusief het beschermen van het interieur) en registreert de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden in de werkplaatssoftware. Na afloop zorg je voor een opgeruimde en veilige werkplek en correcte afvalverwerking.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Opleiding & Ervaring: Er zijn geen specifieke diploma's vereist. Wel heb je aantoonbare ervaring opgedaan in de praktijk of via een gerichte opleiding.
  • Kennis: Je hebt een grondige kennis van banden, velgen, uitlijning, balancering en de machines in de werkplaats. Een basisveiligheidsopleiding en ervaring met registratie-/werkplaatssoftware zijn mooie troeven.
  • Attitude & Vaardigheden: Je werkt efficiënt, snel en uiterst nauwkeurig zonder kwaliteitsverlies. Je bent proactief, flexibel bij wisselende werkdruk en hebt een klantvriendelijke instelling.
  • Rijbewijs: Een rijbewijs B is een pluspunt.
  • Peterschap: Je bent communicatief vaardig en vindt het leuk om een startende collega op te leiden en te begeleiden.
