Jouw nieuwe baan Onder supervisie van een psychiater onderzoek, behandel en begeleid je volwassenen met ernstige psychiatrische aandoeningen, vaak samen met verslavingsproblematiek. Als forensisch arts kijk je daarbij niet alleen naar de diagnose. Je brengt risico's in kaart, beoordeelt gedrag en gebruikt jouw medische kennis bij behandelkeuzes en het bewaken van de veiligheid. Complexe casuïstiek bespreek je met psychiaters, psychologen, verpleegkundigen en andere behandelaren. Samen werk je aan herstelgerichte zorg, structuur en stabiliteit. Ook deel je jouw kennis en denk je mee over de kwaliteit van de behandeling en het behandelklimaat. Wanneer de dagelijkse praktijk het toelaat, kun je aansluiten bij opleidingsactiviteiten van de A-opleiding Psychiatrie. Zo verdiep je jouw kennis binnen de psychiatrie en forensische zorg. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Volwassenen met complexe psychiatrische problematiek en een delictgeschiedenis krijgen hier behandeling binnen een hoogbeveiligde forensische setting. Veiligheid, risicoreductie en herstel bepalen de dagelijkse praktijk. Binnen dit forensisch expertisecentrum werk jij als forensisch arts samen met psychiaters, psychologen, verpleegkundigen en andere behandelaren. Verschillende locaties liggen in een groene omgeving, met ruimte om tijdens een pauze buiten te wandelen of collega's te ontmoeten.
