Begeleider A Agogisch of verzorgend Samen dichtbij - dát is waar wij voor staan. Op de Karel Doormanstraat in Almelo wonen volwassenen met een lichte tot matige verstandelijke beperking. Sommigen hebben daarnaast visuele of auditieve beperkingen, het syndroom van Down of kenmerken van autisme (ASS). Zij zoeken een begeleider die rust brengt, vertrouwen geeft en hen helpt om het dagelijks leven zo zelfstandig mogelijk vorm te geven. Jouw rol Als begeleider ben jij degene die nabijheid biedt wanneer dat nodig is en ruimte geeft waar dat kan. Je kijkt klein, sluit aan bij de beleving van de bewoner en werkt altijd vanuit mogelijkheden. Bij spanning blijf jij rustig en help je cliënten weer overzicht en balans te vinden. Je houdt je o.a. bezig met: - Begeleiden bij het dagelijks leven, zoals koken, huishoudelijke taken en vrije tijd. - Het bieden van structuur, duidelijkheid en een voorspelbare dagindeling. - Signaleren van veranderingen in gedrag of welzijn en hier adequaat op inspelen. - Het onderhouden van contact met familie en andere betrokkenen. - Elke dag samen koken: we zijn op deze woning self supportive, wat betekent dat bewoners - met jouw begeleiding - zelf hun maaltijd bereiden. De dagelijkse boodschappen doen samen met de cliënten. Werken op de Karel Doormanstraat De woning is doordeweeks gesloten van 10.00 tot 15.00 uur, omdat cliënten dan naar de dagbesteding zijn. De diensten worden voor een deel alleen gedraaid, zoals slaapdiensten en diensten in het weekend. Het is belangrijk dat je je comfortabel voelt bij zelfstandig werken, met de zekerheid dat je team altijd achter je staat. Het team Je komt terecht in een warm, betrokken en leergierig team. We benutten elkaars kwaliteiten, staan open voor nieuwe inzichten en vinden het belangrijk dat jij je hier thuis voelt. Samen zorgen we dat bewoners zich gezien én gehoord voelen.
