The posting

Als begeleider of verpleegkundige bied je bewoners ondersteuning op alle levensgebieden: wonen, zelfzorg, dagbesteding en vrije tijd. Je begeleidt dagelijkse routines zoals opstaan, eten, persoonlijke verzorging, wandelen of koken en speelt actief in op wat iemand aankan.

In het werk kom je zowel verbale als fysieke agressie tegen. Om hier professioneel en veilig mee om te gaan, volg je Fysieke en mentale weerbaarheidstrainingen en leer je hoe je in lastige situaties rustig blijft en op de juiste manier reageert.

Je werkt nauw samen met ouders, gedragsdeskundigen, artsen en je collegas om een veilige en stabiele leefomgeving te creëren. Verpleegkundigen zetten hun medische kennis in om de kwaliteit van leven van bewoners te vergroten en werken intensief samen met collegas.

Je viert de kleine momenten van groei die hier groot zijn, en maakt echt het verschil in het leven van onze bewoners.

Voel jij je thuis in een groene omgeving en werk je graag met mensen die je uitdagen én raken? Bij Broekhuizen, net buiten Meppel, wonen 14 volwassenen met moeilijk verstaanbaar gedrag en een matige tot ernstige verstandelijke beperking. Vaak is er daarnaast sprake van bijkomende problematiek, zoals ontwikkelingsstoornissen of psychiatrische aandoeningen.

De bewoners verschillen sterk in hun ontwikkelingsniveau: verstandelijk, emotioneel en motorisch. Dat betekent dat er soms een groot verschil is tussen wat iemand kan en wat iemand aankan. Geen dag is hier hetzelfde en juist dat maakt het werk zo waardevol. Je werkt in een vrijstaande boerderij, omringd door landerijen en water, samen met een betrokken, hecht team.

We werken vanuit de Triple-C-visie: een gewoon leven voor mensen met complexe zorgvragen. Dat betekent dat je bewoners ondersteunt om te ervaren wat ieder ander ook mag ervaren: veiligheid, betekenis en erbij horen.
