Over ons

Wij zijn een Benelux distributeur van consumentenelektronica. Via een breed netwerk van retailers en onlineplatformen helpen we merken groeien in omzet, marge en aanwezigheid.

Een jong bedrijf met meer dan honderd jaar ervaring: die combinatie ontstond toen Schuurman Consumentenelektronica, van oorsprong Nederlands, in 2025 overgenomen werd door BMS. Vandaag bouwen we vanuit België en Nederland verder aan een volwaardige Benelux speler.

Ons merkenportfolio breidt sterk uit. Daarom zoeken we een Brand Manager die niet wacht tot kansen zich aandienen, maar ze zelf ziet, ontwikkelt en omzet in resultaat.

Jouw functie

Als Brand Manager beheer je de commerciële relatie met een portfolio merken. Hun ambities, marktpositie en uitdagingen vertaal je naar een doordachte aanpak voor de Benelux.

Omzet is daarbij niet de enige maatstaf. Samen met onze partners bouw je aan een gezond en duurzaam groeiverhaal. Dat kan betekenen dat de distributie van een merk uitbreidt, dat er nieuwe retail of onlinekanalen opengaan, dat marge structureel verbetert of dat een assortiment beter op de markt afgestemd raakt.

Je beheert je merken als een ondernemer, met veel vrijheid en een sterk gevoel van eigenaarschap. Jij bewaakt de voortgang, brengt de juiste collega’s samen en zorgt dat plannen worden omgezet in resultaten.

Op onze locatie in Evergem werken dagelijks ongeveer twintig collega’s op kantoor, en ongeveer zeven Account Managers zijn actief op de baan. Rapporteren doe je aan de Inkoopmanager. Enkele keren per jaar bezoek je vakbeurzen zoals IFA in Berlijn, en uitnodigingen van merken om hun organisatie in het buitenland beter te leren kennen horen bij de functie.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Opstellen en uitvoeren van een concreet groeiplan met onze partners
  • Ontwikkelen van assortimentsstrategie en marktbenaderingsstrategie van jouw merken binnen het portfolio
  • Onderhandelen over marges, bonussen, jaarcontracten en samenwerkingsvoorwaarden
  • Omzet, marge en distributie analyseren en tijdig bijsturen
  • Nieuwe commerciële opportuniteiten ontdekken binnen ons brede klantenbestand
  • Buiten de klassieke distributiemodellen denken en onze merken verder ontzorgen
  • De belangen van jouw merken binnen Schuurman vertegenwoordigen als eerste aanspreekpunt
  • Nauwe samenwerking met inkoop, marketing, sales en onze Account Managers op de baan
  • Met onze inkopers afstemmen over beschikbaarheid, volumes en gevolgen voor de voorraad
