The posting

Voor een internationaal groeiend merk gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige, duurzame kleding zoeken wij een Business Controller. Je ondersteunt het controllingteam met betrouwbare rapporteringen, financiële analyses en inzichten die bijdragen aan de besluitvorming.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Head of Controlling en werkt samen met de teams Accounting, Credit en Business Analysis. Je neemt geleidelijk verantwoordelijkheid op voor een eigen domein en groeit uit tot financiële businesspartner voor afdelingen zoals Logistiek, Marketing en HR.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ondersteunen van maand- en jaarafsluitingen, inclusief reconciliaties en financiële consolidatie.
  • Analyseren van bedrijfsresultaten en afwijkingen tegenover budget, forecast en vorig jaar.
  • Opvolgen van omzet, marges, voorraad en andere belangrijke financiële indicatoren.
  • Ondersteunen van cashflowprognoses en cashflowopvolging.
  • Voorbereiden van financiële rapporten en presentaties voor managementbesprekingen en bestuursvergaderingen.
  • Uitvoeren van ad-hocanalyses en ondersteunen van commerciële en operationele teams met financiële inzichten.
  • Meewerken aan businesscases, investeringsanalyses en initiatieven om de bedrijfsprestaties te verbeteren.
  • Signaleren van financiële risico’s, opportuniteiten en verbeterpunten.
  • Ondersteunen van budgettering, forecasting, financiële modellen en scenarioanalyses.
  • Opvolgen van operationele en financiële KPI’s.
  • Bijdragen aan de optimalisatie, automatisering en digitalisering van controllingprocessen en rapporteringstools.
  • Bewaken van de naleving van interne financiële richtlijnen, boekhoudnormen en rapporteringsafspraken.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma in Finance, Economie, Bedrijfskunde of een verwante richting.
  • Je hebt minstens drie jaar ervaring in controlling, financiële analyse, audit of een vergelijkbare financiële functie.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van financiële processen, boekhoudkundige principes en financiële rapportering.
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel en hebt ervaring met BI-tools zoals Power BI of Tableau.
  • Je hebt interesse in data, systemen, digitalisering en procesverbetering.
  • Je combineert analytisch inzicht met nauwkeurigheid en een gestructureerde werkwijze.
  • Je communiceert helder en stemt jouw uitleg af op verschillende gesprekspartners.
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega’s uit uiteenlopende afdelingen.
  • Je beheerst Engels en Frans vloeiend.
  • Je neemt initiatief, werkt praktisch en bent gemotiveerd om verder te groeien.
