Door ervoor te zorgen dat miljoenen boeken op het juiste moment beschikbaar zijn voor onze klanten, tegen de juiste commerciële voorwaarden en met een optimale balans tussen omzet, marge en voorraad. Nederlandstalige boeken vormen één van de grootste inkoop categorieën binnen bol. Achter die ogenschijnlijk eenvoudige propositie gaat een uitzonderlijk complexe keten schuil. Met duizenden uitgeverijen, honderdduizenden titels, een externe logistieke partner en een continue stroom aan nieuwe releases vraagt deze markt om scherpe commerciële keuzes én operationele controle. Als Buyer Nederlandstalige Boeken stuur jij op de prestaties van deze business. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor contracten, commerciële voorwaarden, beschikbaarheid, voorraadposities, forecasting en operationele performance. Dit doe je niet alleen, samen met supply chain, pricing, logistiek en de Publishing Managers zorg je dat klanten altijd vinden wat ze zoeken en dat bol commercieel optimaal presteert. Jij maakt samen met het team dagelijks de afweging tussen beschikbaarheid, werkkapitaal, marge en commerciële kansen. Daarbij schakel je continu tussen data-analyses, onderhandelingen met leveranciers en verbeterinitiatieven in de keten.
