Brandweer logo Calamiteiten Coördinator In het kort Regio home Rotterdam-Rijnmond Plaats Rotterdam Rijnmond Reageer voor 31-12-2026 Aantal uur 36 uur Dienstverband Tijdelijk met uitzicht op vast, HBO, Vast Open Grote brand, extreem weer of een plots afgesloten brug; als Calamiteiten Coördinator op de Meldkamer in het World Port centrum in Rotterdam speel je een cruciale rol in de veiligheid van de regio Rotterdam-Rijnmond en Zuid-Zuid-Holland. Op momenten waarop iedere seconde telt, zorg jij ervoor dat hulpdiensten en crisispartners beschikken over de juiste informatie om snel en effectief te kunnen handelen. Terwijl buiten een dreiging of incident zich ontwikkelt, bewaak jij binnen het overzicht. Jouw werk Tijdens multidisciplinaire incidenten ben jij het centrale aanspreekpunt binnen de meldkamer voor de coördinatie van informatie en opschaling. Je zorgt ervoor dat Brandweer, Ambulance, Politie en andere crisispartners optimaal samenwerken en beschikt continu over een actueel beeld van wat er speelt. Je analyseert informatie, beoordeelt risico's, regelt de juiste opschaling en adviseert betrokken collega's. Je werkt nauw samen met informatiemanagers, de Leider Commando Plaats Incident en andere betrokken collega's om een gezamenlijke informatiepositie te creëren. Daarbij zorg je ervoor dat cruciale informatie op het juiste moment bij de juiste personen terechtkomt. Jij houdt overzicht, stelt prioriteiten en zorgt dat de juiste partijen direct in actie kunnen komen. Gelukkig zijn er niet dagelijks grote incidenten. Als Calamiteiten Coördinator werk je vanuit het Veiligheidsinformatieknooppunt (VIK) continu samen met collega's aan een sterke informatievoorziening rondom calamiteiten en crises. Juist doordat acute situaties niet voortdurend voorkomen, krijg je de ruimte om actief bij te dragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het Veiligheidsinformatieknooppunt en de meldkamer.
