Dan is deze vacature echt iets voor jou!Wat je kan verwachten:De Main Kitchen draagt onder andere zorg voor de bereiding van gerechten met diverse verse ingrediënten en producten voor verschillende afdelingen, waaronder het ontbijt, Roomservice, de Lobby Bar en Banquet Operations. De Banquet Operations afdeling van Hotel Okura Amsterdam is de grootste Banquet Operations afdeling onder alle vijfsterrenhotels in Nederland en is marktleider met betrekking tot omzet en kwaliteit. Zorgdragen voor de gerechten binnen de Main Kitchen betekent dus werken op zeer hoog niveau. Het team van de Main Kitchen bestaat uit negentien personen, onder wie één Executive Chef.Als Canteen Chef de Partie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bereiden van uiteenlopende gerechten, het uitvoeren van mise en place werkzaamheden, het schoonhouden van de keuken, het optimaal functioneren van de toegewezen partie en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe items op het menu. Je werkt met diverse verse ingrediënten en producten en zorgt ervoor dat de gerechten volgens de vastgestelde kwaliteitsstandaarden worden bereid en gepresenteerd.Je hoofdtaken zullen zijn: • Bereiden van (een deel van) maaltijden volgens recept en planning; • Uitvoeren van mise en place werkzaamheden, zoals wassen, snijden en voorbereiden van ingrediënten; • Bereiden en plaatsen van gerechten voor banketten en zorgen voor
