Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als carrossier-plaatbewerker herstel je de de basisconstructie van onze reizigerstreinen. Op die manier help je mee om ons materieel veilig en betrouwbaar ter beschikking te stellen aan onze reizigers.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?

  • Je zorgt voor het kwaliteitsvol uitvoeren van allerhande verbeteringswerken en moderniseringswerken aan de basisconstructie van reizigerstreinen. Dit in nauwe samenwerking met onze gespecialiseerde lassers.
  • Deze werken omvatten het proper maken, slijpen, ontroesten,… aan oud ijzer-, staal- en aluminiumconstructies.
  • Je reviseert onverwachte beschadigingen door ongeval of corrosie.
  • Je werkt in een technische omgeving waar veiligheid een prioriteit is. We besteden veel aandacht aan Persoonlijke Beschermingsmiddelen. Zo wordt er gewerkt met aangepaste werkkledij, ademhalingsbescherming via luchttoevoer en alle andere nodige beschermingsmiddelen.

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?

Je hebt een getuigschrift van de 2e graad van het technisch onderwijs of van de 3e graad van het beroepsonderwijs in het studiegebied mechanica - elektriciteit of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest. Of je hebt ervaring (min. 2 jaar) als carrossier of plaatbewerker.

Daarnaast:

  • Je beheerst basisvaardigheden van mechanische bewerkingen (slijpen, ontroesten, …).
  • Je hebt ervaring met een snijbrander, plasmabrander, plaatschaar of plooibank.
  • Je hebt een goede handvaardigheid.
  • Je bent bereid tot zwaar fysiek werk.
  • Je bent een teamspeler.
  • Je werkt kwaliteitsvol en efficiënt
  • Je bent flexibel in je werkuren en bereid tot ploegenwerk.
