Als chauffeur B ben je een belangrijk onderdeel van het team en draag je bij aan het succes van vele horecazaken in de regio. Hier krijg je de kans om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen, bijvoorbeeld door het volgen van opleidingen voor rijbewijs BE en/of C. Als chauffeur B ben je verantwoordelijk voor het laden, vervoeren en afleveren van horecagoederen bij een breed scala aan klanten, van cafetaria's en sportkantines tot restaurants en sterrenzaken. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het logistieke proces en het visitekaartje van de organisatie. Over de functie Je start je werkdag vanuit het distributiecentrum. De karren voor jouw route worden klaargezet, maar je controleert deze zelf en laadt vervolgens je voertuig in. Daarna ga je op pad om bestellingen af te leveren bij horecaklanten. Het werk bestaat voor ongeveer 35% uit rijden en 65% uit laden, lossen en bezorgen. Je maakt gebruik van rolcontainers, maar het blijft een fysiek zware functie. Iedere klant heeft een eigen verlanglijstje en specifieke leverafspraken waar jij je aan houdt. Servicegericht werken en klanttevredenheid staan hierbij centraal. Je werkt volgens een rooster dat een week van tevoren bekend is. Je start tussen 05:30 en 08:30 uur, waarbij de exacte starttijd de dag ervoor wordt bevestigd. Maandag en vrijdag zijn vaste werkdagen, daarnaast werk je één keer per twee weken op zaterdag. Dinsdag is doorgaans de drukste dag van de week.
