Als Chemisch Laborant Katalyse ga je heterogene katalysatoren bereiden, waarbij je de optimale reactie omstandigheden onderzoekt. Onder jouw verantwoordelijkheden vallen:

- Experimenteren met verschillende grondstoffen en samenstellingen om nieuwe heterogene katalysatoren te ontwikkelen.

- Je verwerkt de mengsels door middel van extrusie en calcineert de gevormde materialen bij hoge temperaturen.

- Optimaliseren van grondstoffen, extrusie-instellingen en procesparameters (zoals temperatuur en mengtijd)

- Samenwerken met collega's en wetenschappers aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe katalysatorrecepturen

(De verdere testen op fysische eigenschappen en prestaties van de katalysatoren worden uitgevoerd door andere gespecialiseerde teams)

Voor de functie van Chemisch Laborant Katalyse zoeken wij een praktisch ingestelde kandidaat met een afgeronde hbo-opleiding Chemie of Analytische Chemie. Master kandidaten worden niet overwogen voor deze positie

- Je hebt relevante praktijkervaring met chemische synthese en/of katalyse

- Ervaring met heterogene katalyse is een sterke pré.

- Als persoon ben je nauwkeurig, pro-actief en niet bang om vragen te stellen

- Verder beschik je over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en werkt graag samen met collega's.

- Je hebt een sterke beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
