The posting

Als Network & Security Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer, de optimalisatie en de beveiliging van de netwerk- en security-infrastructuur. Je werkt voornamelijk met Fortinet-oplossingen en zorgt ervoor dat Firewalling, toegangsbeheer en security policies correct worden opgezet en onderhouden. Dankzij jouw expertise help je de organisatie veilig en efficiënt te functioneren, terwijl je de continuïteit van kritieke processen waarborgt.

Jouw uitdagingen

  • Je beheert, configureert en optimaliseert Fortinet-oplossingen zoals FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager en Fortiauthenticator.
  • Je analyseert bestaande en nieuwe traffic flows en vertaalt deze naar efficiënte en veilige Firewall policies.
  • Je verwerkt Firewall-gerelateerde incidenten, service requests en wijzigingen volgens de afgesproken procedures en SLA's.
  • Je identificeert securityrisico's, onderzoekt mogelijke verbeteringen en formuleert voorstellen om de beveiliging verder te versterken.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte documentatie van wijzigingen, configuraties en procedures.
  • Je prioriteert incidenten en changes op een gestructureerde manier en escaleert waar nodig.
  • Je draagt bij aan de stabiliteit, beschikbaarheid en beveiliging van de volledige netwerk- en securityomgeving.

Je hebt een passie voor cybersecurity en netwerkbeveiliging. Je werkt nauwkeurig, denkt analytisch en begrijpt de impact van wijzigingen op bedrijfskritische systemen. Je bent servicegericht, communicatief sterk en blijft rustig onder druk.

Must haves:

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met Fortinet security-oplossingen, waaronder FortiGate
  • Grondige kennis van Firewalling, security policies en network security concepts
  • Ervaring met FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager en/of Fortiauthenticator
  • Kennis van netwerkprotocollen en traffic flows vanuit een securityperspectief
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een risicobewuste mindset
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Een gestructureerde en planmatige manier van werken
  • Verantwoordelijkheidszin en een sterke focus op kwaliteit

Nice to haves

  • Certificeringen zoals Fcp, Fcss of NSE
  • Ervaring binnen industriële of productieomgevingen
  • Kennis van netwerkmonitoring- en securityrapporteringstools
  • Ervaring met change management- en ITIL-processen
  • Kennis van aanvullende security-oplossingen zoals NAC, MFA of SIEM-platformen
