Op wandelafstand van Gent-Sint-Pieters ligt het hoofdkantoor van een groep die tientallen zelfstandige accountancy-, audit- en advieskantoren samenbrengt.

De groep blijft groeien en dat vraagt om meer structuur en sterkere processen binnen Finance.

Jouw rol

Als Chief Accountant sta je aan het hoofd van een team van zeven Finance-professionals: GL Accountants, AP Accountants en Credit Controllers. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor drie domeinen.

General Ledger

  • Je zorgt voor correcte en tijdige afsluitingen, jaarrekeningen, aangiftes en consolidatie.

Accounts Payable

  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en doorlooptijd en gaat actief op zoek naar mogelijkheden om te automatiseren.

Credit Control & Collection

  • Samen met de Lead Credit & Collection stuur je het creditmanagement en de cashflow aan.

Daarnaast:

  • Coach en ontwikkel je je teamleden en voer je de evaluatiegesprekken.
  • Rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de CFO en werk je nauw samen met Business Controlling.
  • Neem je een actieve rol op in de financiële integratie van nieuwe kantoren.
  • Help je duidelijke processen en verantwoordelijkheden uit te bouwen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy, Finance of Economie.
  • Je hebt minstens 8 jaar ervaring in GL Accounting, Audit en/of Financial Controlling.
  • Je hebt bewezen leidinggevende skills: je coacht, motiveert en durft mensen aan te spreken.
  • Je voelt je goed in een omgeving die volop groeit en waar nog niet alles vastligt.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en houdt tegelijk oog voor praktische oplossingen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands. Engels en Frans is een grote plus.
  • Kennis van ERP-tools.
