The posting

Dierenkliniek Orion is een gerenommeerd veterinair verwijscentrum in Herentals, onderdeel van Nesto. We bouwen aan een centrum waar diergeneeskunde op het hoogste niveau samengaat met een warme, betrokken teamsfeer. Ons chirurgisch team bestaat uit een ECVS diplomate, een ESAVS diplomate, een team ondersteunende dierenartsen en een ervaren groep OK- en anesthesie-assistentie, aangevuld met een actieve ECVS-residency. Samen zorgen zij voor een stevige basis van kennis, begeleiding en samenwerking.

Ter versterking van dit team zoeken we een voltijds weke delen chirurg die mee wil bouwen aan de verdere groei van Orion, met oog voor de lange termijn.

Reken alvast op volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

Als weke delen chirurg krijg je een centrale rol in ons chirurgisch team. Je voert het volledige spectrum van weke delen chirurgie uit en werkt daarbij nauw samen met onze interne en ondersteunende afdelingen. Concreet werk je onder andere met:

  • Alle courante weke delen operaties
  • ICG-geleide chirurgie
  • Laparoscopische, minimaal invasieve chirurgie
  • Rhinoscopie, bronchoscopie en gastro-/enteroscopie
  • Laserapparatuur

Je kan hierbij rekenen op volledige ondersteuning van onze afdeling interne geneeskunde, onze beeldvorming (echografie, CT en high-field MRI) en onze spoed- en ICU-afdeling.

We zoeken vooral een gemotiveerde teamspeler: iemand die het niveau van ons verwijscentrum wil dragen en mee laten groeien, met een langetermijnvisie op de samenwerking. Je neemt graag initiatief, maar zoekt evengoed actief het overleg en de samenwerking met collega's op.

Daarnaast breng je mee:

  • Aantoonbare ervaring in weke delen chirurgie
  • Een ESAVS-opleiding weke delen chirurgie of een gelijkwaardige opleiding, óf aantoonbare gelijkwaardige ervaring zonder die specifieke opleiding
  • Zin om verder te leren en te groeien, of net om je kennis en ervaring door te geven aan collega's

Heb je de minimale opleiding wel maar de volledige praktische vaardigheden nog niet onder de knie? Geen probleem: je groeit bij ons verder onder de vleugels van onze ECVS diplomate, tot je klaar bent om volledig zelfstandig te opereren.
