Als CNC-frezer die zelf programmeert ben je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig programmeren, instellen en produceren van complexe precisieproducten op moderne CNC-freesmachines. Je werkt met Fanuc-besturingen en met CAD/CAM-software zoals OneCNC en Esprit. Je leest en controleert werkorders, technische tekeningen en 3D-modellen en vertaalt CAD-modellen naar efficiënte CNC-programma's. Je bepaalt de juiste bewerkingsstrategie, gereedschappen en opspanningen en bouwt een stabiel en efficiënt freesproces op. Je stelt de machines in en af en voert controlemetingen uit met onder andere schuifmaten, micrometers en andere meetmiddelen. Je beoordeelt de maakbaarheid, denkt actief mee over technische oplossingen en lost technische vraagstukken op de werkvloer op. Je produceert hoogwaardige onderdelen in uiteenlopende materialen zoals aluminium, RVS, staal, kunststoffen en diverse speciale legeringen.
