The posting

VTI Zeebrugge Havenschool is op zoek naar een halftijdse gemotiveerde co-teacher voor de algemene vakken in de 1ste en 3de graad van het secundair onderwijs.

Als co-teacher ondersteun je leerlingen tijdens de lessen algemene vakken. Je werkt nauw samen met de vakleerkrachten en helpt leerlingen bij het begrijpen en verwerken van de leerstof. Je hebt aandacht voor de individuele noden van leerlingen en biedt ondersteuning waar nodig.

Je helpt mee een positief en stimulerend leerklimaat te creëren en draagt bij aan de zelfstandigheid en ontwikkeling van onze leerlingen.

Jouw taken

  • Je houdt rekening met de diverse achtergronden, taalniveaus en individuele noden van leerlingen.
  • Je ondersteunt leerlingen tijdens de lessen en begeleidt hen in hun leerproces en ontwikkeling.
  • Je werkt samen met de vakleerkrachten bij de voorbereiding, uitvoering en opvolging van de lessen.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een gestructureerde, veilige en stimulerende leeromgeving.
  • Je past werkvormen en leermiddelen aan de noden van de leerlingen aan.
  • Je volgt de leerlingen op, geeft feedback en werkt mee aan hun evaluatie.
  • Je hebt aandacht voor de sociale, emotionele en algemene ontwikkeling van leerlingen.
  • Je volgt de schoolinterne afspraken rond leerlingenbegeleiding, evaluatie en administratie.
  • Je staat open voor professionele ontwikkeling en reflecteert over je eigen werking.

  • Een pedagogisch bekwaamheidsbewijs is een pluspunt.
