Bij een hightech machinebouwer in Epe ontwikkel je PLC-software voor bandenbouwmachines voor vrachtwagenbanden. Als Control Engineer R&D vertaal je nieuwe ideeën naar werkende machinefunctionaliteit en bouw je verder aan het standaardsoftwarepakket. Je bent betrokken vanaf de eerste brainstorm tot en met de oplevering bij de klant. Daarbij gaat het niet alleen om nieuwe PLC-code: je test, valideert en beheert ook bestaande functionaliteit en maakt oplossingen geschikt voor hergebruik. Je werkt in een multidisciplinair, soms internationaal team met mechanical, electrical en control engineers. In de productiehal test je jouw software direct op de machines; bij klanten ondersteun je de inbedrijfstelling. Je legt ontwerpkeuzes vast en stemt af met betrokken disciplines. Voor specialistische vraagstukken kun je samenwerken met expertisegroepen rond AI en cameratoepassingen. Opleidingen en interne ontwikkeltrajecten geven je ruimte om je technische kennis te verdiepen of richting een leadrol te groeien. Functie-inhoud - PLC-software ontwerpen en ontwikkelen voor bandenbouwmachines en deelsystemen - Nieuwe en bestaande machinefunctionaliteit uitwerken, testen en valideren - Softwareoplossingen standaardiseren, documenteren en beheren voor hergebruik - Software op machines testen en ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling bij klanten - Ontwerpkeuzes afstemmen met mechanical, electrical en control engineers - Sales, productmanagement en projectmanagers technisch ondersteunen tijdens klantbezoeken - Technologische ontwikkelingen vertalen naar ideeën voor toekomstige machinefunctionaliteit Functie-eisen - Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding in de richting van Software Engineering - Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als software engineer binnen de machinebouw - Affiniteit met PLC-besturingen en een brede interesse in techniek - Een creatieve blik op softwareontwikkeling en oog voor toekomstige toepassingen - Je documenteert zorgvuldig, communiceert helder met stakeholders en beheerst Engels vl.
