The posting

Bij een ontwikkelaar van meet- en besturingstechnologie in De Lier werk je aan de kernsoftware die lokaal hardware in kassen aanstuurt. Als Control Engineer vertaal je behoeften van tuinbouwklanten en interne stakeholders naar betrouwbare softwareoplossingen. Je combineert programmeren in C met kennis van regeltechniek en industriële automatisering. Daarbij draait het om stabiele besturing, nauwkeurige metingen en software die aansluit op de werking van de onderliggende installaties. Je sluit aan bij een klein, ervaren ontwikkelteam dat bestaande besturingssoftware onderhoudt en verder ontwikkelt. In de dagelijkse praktijk analyseer je een lang opgebouwde codebase, werk je technische ontwerpen uit en implementeer en test je wijzigingen. Je stemt af met de product owner en collega-ontwikkelaars over functionaliteit en ontwerpkeuzes. Zo verdiep je je in kasautomatisering en draag je bij aan betere softwarekwaliteit, documentatie en een modernere ontwikkelomgeving. Functie-inhoud - Vertalen van eisen van de product owner naar technische ontwerpen en ontwikkelactiviteiten - Analyseren van bestaande C-code om besturingslogica en hardwareaansturing te doorgronden - Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van software voor lokale meet- en besturingsfuncties in kassen - Implementeren en testen van wijzigingen met aandacht voor stabiliteit en betrouwbaarheid - Documenteren van softwarewijzigingen en bewaken van de softwarekwaliteit - Verbeteren van softwareontwerp en moderniseren van de ontwikkelomgeving Functie-eisen - Ervaring met technisch softwareontwerp en ontwikkeling op basis van functionele eisen - Ervaring met C; kennis van C++, Python of C# is een pré - Relevante ervaring met regeltechniek of installatiebesturing en kennis van industriële automatisering - Je werkt zorgvuldig in een bestaande, deels Nederlandstalige codebase en onderzoekt eerst de aanwezige logica - Je beheerst het Engels vloeiend; Nederlands en basiskennis van XML zijn pluspunten - Je vertaalt wensen naar co.
