The posting

Bij een machinebouwer in Haelen ontwikkel je besturingen voor energie-efficiënte drogers en koelers, onder andere voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie. Als Controls Engineer verbind je elektrotechnisch ontwerp met software en praktijktesten. Je ontwerpt schakelkasten in Eplan, begeleidt de uitbestede bouw en test systemen met honderden I/O’s voor motoren en sensoren. Daarnaast configureer en programmeer je de PLC-besturing en HMI voor installaties die wereldwijd worden ingezet. Je werkt in een Controls-team van zes medewerkers en stemt af met Field Service, Sales, Purchasing en R&D. Terwijl Field Service Engineers de machines bij klanten in bedrijf stellen, ondersteun jij hen op afstand bij technische vragen en storingen. Je dagelijkse werk wisselt tussen ontwerpen, programmeren, testen en analyseren. Daarbij verdiep je je in frequentieregelaars, bestaande besturingen en upgradevraagstukken, en verbeter je samen met collega’s de hardware- en softwarestandaarden en bijbehorende werkinstructies. Functie-inhoud - Ontwerp en controleer schakelkasten in Eplan, begeleid leveranciers en test de gebouwde kasten. - Configureer en programmeer PLC-besturingen en HMI’s, incidenteel met Allen-Bradley. - Ondersteun Field Service Engineers op afstand bij inbedrijfstelling en technische vragen. - Analyseer storingen in industriële automatiseringssystemen en werk passende oplossingen uit. - Verzorg pre-engineering en werk aan P&ID’s en de toepassing van frequentieregelaars. - Stel ombouw- en upgradepakketten samen voor bestaande besturingen. - Beheer en verbeter hardware- en softwarestandaarden en technische werkinstructies. Functie-eisen - Je hebt minimaal hbo-niveau, bij voorkeur in Industriële Automatisering, Mechatronica of Elektrotechniek. - Je hebt ervaring met het ontwerpen en controleren van schakelkasten in Eplan. - Je hebt ervaring met PLC-, HMI- en SCADA-software en communicatieprotocollen. - Je kent de relevante normen en regelgeving voor elektrotechnische besturingen. -.
