Werk je graag met mensen, hou je van een goed georganiseerde administratie en wil je een stevige voet aan de grond krijgen in de wereld van shipping en maritieme logistiek? Voor een internationale containerrederij met een wereldwijd netwerk van scheepvaartroutes zoeken we een Customer Service Medewerker Import voor de import service desk in hartje Antwerpen.

In deze rol zorg jij ervoor dat importzendingen vlot en correct worden vrijgegeven aan de juiste ontvanger. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor klanten en buitenlandse agenten en je volgt de volledige importadministratie op, van facturatie tot aangifte bij de havenkapitein. Ervaring in container shipping, forwarding of customer service is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen must. Ben je starter en wil je de sector leren kennen? Dan krijg je hier alle kansen om te groeien. Heb je al wat ervaring? Dan zet je die meteen in.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je geeft importzendingen vrij en controleert of de lading bij de rechtmatige eigenaar terechtkomt
  • Je beantwoordt vragen van klanten telefonisch en via e-mail, altijd vriendelijk en correct
  • Je stemt dagelijks af met overzeese agenten om elk importdossier vlot af te ronden
  • Je verzorgt de facturatie die bij het importproces hoort
  • Je staat in voor de aangifte bij de havenkapitein
  • Je volgt de importdossiers administratief nauwkeurig op en houdt alles up-to-date
  • Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s van de service desk zodat klanten altijd snel geholpen worden
  • Een bachelordiploma in logistiek of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Ervaring in container shipping, forwarding of customer service is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste
  • Nederlands is een vereiste. Een goede kennis van Engels is belangrijk en kennis van Frans is een sterke troef.
  • Je voelt je zeker aan de telefoon en communiceert graag met klanten
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, flexibel en blijft rustig wanneer het drukker wordt
  • Je bent gemotiveerd en een echte teamspeler
  • Je werkt vlot met Outlook, Word en Excel
  • Je hebt interesse in shipping, import en internationale logistiek
