The posting

Bij een internationale leverancier van industriële installaties in Lichtenvoorde ben je als Customer Support Engineer PLC het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klanten met besturingstechnische vragen en storingen. Je verzorgt eerstelijnsondersteuning voor hardware en software en analyseert wat nodig is om installaties weer betrouwbaar te laten draaien. Op afstand voer je programmawijzigingen en upgrades uit via modem- of VPN-verbindingen. Daarbij combineer je kennis van grotere PLC-systemen met een heldere uitleg aan de klant. Je dagelijkse werk bestaat uit storingsanalyse, het monitoren van installaties en het terugkoppelen van de technische status. Je houdt ook na een oplossing contact met klanten en stemt vervolgstappen af met technische collega's. Daarnaast schrijf en implementeer je software voor kleinere projecten en verhelp je incidenteel storingen op locatie. Je krijgt ruimte voor eigen initiatief en vakinhoudelijke ontwikkeling, met mogelijkheden om door te groeien. Wat ga je doen? - Eerstelijnsstoringen en klantvragen over hardware, PLC-software en PC-systemen analyseren en oplossen - Programmawijzigingen en upgrades voorbereiden en op afstand implementeren via modem of VPN - Installaties monitoren en de technische status terugkoppelen aan klanten - Managementrapportages opstellen en bijbehorend technisch advies geven - Actief klantcontact onderhouden, ook na het oplossen van een storing - Incidenteel storingen op locatie verhelpen, ook internationaal - Software schrijven en implementeren voor kleinere projecten Wat vragen we van jou? - Afgeronde mbo+/hbo-opleiding in elektrotechniek of besturingstechniek - Minimaal 2–3 jaar ervaring met het ontwerpen en in bedrijf stellen van grotere PLC-systemen - Kennis van PC-systemen en een analytische aanpak bij hardware- en softwareproblemen - Goede beheersing van het Engels; Duits is een pré - Bereidheid om consignatiediensten te draaien en incidenteel internationaal te reizen - Communicatief vaardig, stressbestendig en.
