Breng jij de artistieke dromen van het grootste cultuurhuis in Vlaanderen mee tot leven? Hiervoor

zoeken wij een leidinggevende met een toekomstgerichte visie op podiumtechniek. Als

Diensthoofd Podiumtechniek geef je richting aan de technische realisatie van al onze producties

op diverse podia. Je combineert je lange termijn inzicht en innovatieve techniek met een warme,

stimulerende leiderschapsstijl. Samen met de leidinggevenden in je team geef je sturing aan een

groep van een 35-tal gepassioneerde technici.

VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN & TAKEN

Langetermijnstrategie & visie

Als Diensthoofd ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagdagelijkse operationaliteit en bepaal je

samen met de directie en je collega’s het beleid op (middel)lange termijn. Je vertaalt artistieke

ambities naar een haalbaar en toekomstbestendig beleid.

● Je werkt je visie op de langetermijnstrategie uit podiumtechnische werking uit, in nauwe

afstemming met de technische directie en andere diensten binnen de afdeling techniek.

● Je initieert en trekt grotere dossiers, zoals investeringsplannen en infrastructuuringrepen

op onze verschillende locaties.

● Je bewaakt de grote lijnen en stelt duidelijke prioriteiten voor je dienst op langere termijn.

De operationele kortetermijnplanning delegeer en monitor je o.a. via je team van

adjuncten en productieverantwoordelijken.

Kwaliteitsbewaking, Expertise & Innovatie

Je borgt de veiligheid en de technische kwaliteit in onze producties en zorgt ervoor dat onze

organisatie voorloopt in de sector.

● Je bewaakt de podiumtechnische kwaliteit over alle producties en genres heen (opera,

ballet, symfonische concerten).

● Je volgt marktontwikkelingen, trends, wet- en regelgeving en (o.a. Europese) netwerken

op de voet. Dit om onze werking continu te moderniseren.

● Je stimuleert een leerklimaat binnen het team: via gerichte opleidingsplannen en

kennisdeling (o.a. nieuwe technieken) zorg je dat de technische expertise op topniveau

blijft.

● Je stelt het kader voor risicoanalyses op (o.a. in samenwerking met de dienst Preventie)

en borgt een veilige werkomgeving.

Leidinggeven doorheen veranderingen

Je bent een verbindende leider die steeds rust en richting brengt in een organisatie volop in

beweging en transitie.

● Je geeft vorm aan de structuur, rolverdeling en opbouw van het team (ca. 35

medewerkers), passend bij de nieuwe organisatie.

● Je begeleidt het team door veranderingstrajecten met oog voor duidelijke communicatie,

motivatie, psychologische veiligheid en competentieopbouw.

● Je coacht je medewerkers en adjuncten op een enthousiasmerende manier, waardoor

talent optimaal benut wordt.

● Je adviseert de directie bij de lange termijn-personeelsplanning en het opstellen van de

bijbehorende personeelsbudgetten.

Beheer van infrastructuur, materiaal & budget

Je draagt zorg voor het fysieke kapitaal van ons huis: onze podia, apparatuur en middelen.

● Je bepaalt mee de koers voor het beheer, de vernieuwing en het onderhoud van onze

technische middelen en infrastructuur.

● Je adviseert bij prioriteiten inzake aankopen, logistieke keuzes (transport en opslag) en

materiële investeringen.

● Je bewaakt het investeringsbudget en zorgt dat alle materialen en installaties steevast

voldoen aan de strengste kwaliteits- en veiligheidseisen.

PROFIEL

● Opleiding & Ervaring: je beschikt over een bachelor of master opleiding of aantoonbaar

gelijkgesteld door ervaring én je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met het leidinggeven aan

grotere teams.

● Sector- & proceskennis: Je hebt een grondig inzicht in het (podium)technische

productieproces binnen de theater-, podium- of evenementensector.

● Strategisch & flexibel: Je navigeert vlot door een complexe, snel veranderende

fusiecontext. Je bewaart mee het overzicht, handelt proactief en schakelt moeiteloos

tussen routine en pragmatiek wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt.

● Leiderschap: Je hanteert een coachende en motiverende leiderschapsstijl. Je creëert

draagvlak, stimuleert samenwerking en weet rust te bewaren, ook op piekmomenten.

● Communicatie: Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en weet belangen

af te wegen, bruggen te bouwen en knopen door te hakken met respect voor je collega’s

op elk niveau.

● IT en talenkennis: Je leert snel werken met nieuwe software applicaties (zoals Google

Workspace, etc.) en drukt je vlot uit in het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als

schriftelijk.
