Voel je je thuis in de agrarische en veterinaire wereld en heb je affiniteit met academisch onderwijs en onderzoek? Wil jij met visie richting geven aan een praktijk waar diergeneeskundige zorg en het opleiden van nieuwe generaties dierenartsen samenkomen? Dan zoeken wij jou. Functieomschrijving Als directeur geef je integraal leiding aan de Universitaire Landbouwhuisdieren Praktijk (ULP) in Harmelen, een dierenartsenpraktijk voor rund, varken en kleine herkauwers met een structurele onderwijstaak voor de Faculteit Diergeneeskunde. De ULP telt ongeveer 25 medewerkers, dierenartsen en ondersteunend personeel, en is een 100% dochter van Utrecht Holdings. Samen met de clustervertegenwoordigers vorm je het strategisch overleg. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een financieel gezonde bedrijfsvoering en het personeelsbeleid en ontwikkelt een visie op de positie van de ULP in een agrarische omgeving die snel verandert. Ieder kwartaal leg je verantwoording af aan de Raad van Commissarissen en de aandeelhouder. Een goede relatie met de Faculteit Diergeneeskunde is voor de ULP van groot belang. Je onderhoudt dat contact zelf en zorgt dat praktijk, onderwijs en praktijkgebonden onderzoek elkaar versterken. De universiteit, de aandeelhouder, de veehouders en de eigen organisatie delen veel - vaak complexe - belangen. Je hebt oog voor elk daarvan en weet ze op bestuurlijk niveau bij elkaar te brengen. ...
