Vanuit negen locaties in Apeldoorn, Beekbergen en Ugchelen biedt de organisatie behandeling, begeleiding en langdurige zorg aan mensen met dementie, een somatische zorgvraag, gerontopsychiatrische problematiek, het syndroom van Korsakov of de ziekte van Huntington. Voor de laatste drie doelgroepen is Atlant erkend als doelgroep expertisecentrum, met een bovenregionale en landelijke functie. Atlant is een organisatie van substantiële omvang. In 2025 bood zij zorg aan ruim 650 bewoners, 175 cliënten met dagactiviteiten en 103 cliënten met extramurale zorg. Eind 2025 telde de organisatie 1.430 medewerkers in loondienst en 650 vrijwilligers, bij een bedrijfsopbrengst van ruim 105 miljoen euro. De opgave Atlant opereert in een zorglandschap dat ingrijpend verandert: vergrijzing, complexere zorgvragen, arbeidsmarktkrapte en druk op de betaalbaarheid vragen om andere manieren van organiseren en samenwerken. Atlant zet in op de beweging van zorg naar leven, waarbij mensen met complexe zorgvragen zo lang mogelijk regie houden over hun eigen leven, en werkt daarbij voortdurend aan de balans tussen specialistische behandeling en nieuwe zorg- en ondersteuningsconcepten. Intern zet de organisatie de ingezette beweging naar meer eigenaarschap en zelfstandigheid lager in de organisatie voort.
