Wat doe je als docent Lichamelijke Opvoeding bij het Stella Maris College?

Je gaat lessen geven in onze onderbouw en de bovenbouw van het vmbo-mavo-havo-vwo. Daarnaast word je mentor en maak je deel uit van zowel de sectie Lichamelijke Opvoeding als van een mentorenteam.

- Docent Als docent neem je deel aan het sectieoverleg. Je speelt hierin een actieve rol en denkt mee over de doorontwikkeling van jouw vak. Daarnaast ben je ook van één of meerdere lagen jaarlaagverantwoordelijke. Dat betekent dat je voor deze laag de planning en eventuele toetsen maakt en dit deelt met jouw collega’s.

- Mentor Als mentor begeleidt je een groepje van 10 tot 20 leerlingen als persoonlijk mentor. Naast de gesprekken met deze leerlingen onderhoud je ook actief contact met ouder(s)/verzorger(s). Alle belangrijk informatie verwerk je in ons leerlingvolgsysteem. Wanneer nodig schakel je met de leerlingcoördinator of schaal je op naar ons ondersteuningsteam.

Het betreft 0,9 tot 1,0 fte als vervanging afhankelijk van de ervaring en mogelijkheid om ook het mentoraat over te nemen. De werktijdfactor kan stapsgewijs worden afgebouwd.

Wij vragen We zoeken een collega die: • Blij wordt van pubers. • Gelooft in de groei van leerlingen. • Vriendelijk, betrokken, warm en toegewijd is. • Besluitvaardig, kritisch, deskundig en proactief is. • Bevoegd is als docent Lichamelijke Opvoeding. • Het persoonlijke contact met leerlingen en ouders belangrijk vindt en hierin een actieve rol vervult. • Graag samenwerkt, openstaat voor feedback en durft te reflecteren. • Openstaat voor veranderingen en vernieuwingen en hierin een proactieve rol wil nemen.

Wie zijn we en waar staan we voor: Het Stella Maris college is een warme streekschool in de gemeente Meerssen met een breed aanbod voor alle leerlingen van alle niveaus: vmbo-mavo-havo-vwo. De school telt ruim 1300 leerlingen en 140 medewerkers.
