The posting

Bij een informele machinebouwer in Nijkerk, gespecialiseerd in warmte-, proces- en metaaltechniek, breng je als Field Commissioning Engineer maatwerkinstallaties tot leven. Je werkt aan machines voor de gasturbine-industrie, aerospace en andere veeleisende industriële toepassingen. De techniek omvat hogetemperatuurmaterialen, verwarmingselementen, luchtverhitters, ovens, thermische procesinstallaties en complexe, hoogwaardig afgewerkte rvs-producten. Vanuit de testhal bereid je installaties voor op betrouwbaar en veilig gebruik bij klanten wereldwijd. Je werkdag bestaat uit afstellen, testen, technische tekeningen interpreteren en afstemmen over verbeteringen. Daarbij werk je samen met productiecollega’s, engineers, monteurs en projectleiders binnen een multidisciplinair team. Na installatie door de monteurs maak jij het proces op locatie operationeel. Je verblijft ongeveer de helft van je werktijd in het buitenland, met reizen naar Amerika, Europa en Azië, waaronder India, Korea, China en Singapore. Je deelt praktijkervaring met collega’s en krijgt ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen in besturingstechniek, thermische processen en commissioning. Wat ga je doen? - Stel maatwerkmachines af in de testhal in Nijkerk en test de werking aan de hand van klantspecifieke eisen. - Lees complexe technische tekeningen en controleer de samenhang tussen machine, PLC-besturing en thermisch proces. - Werk met productie en engineering aan technische verbeteringen en klantspecifieke aanpassingen. - Test installaties bij de klant en maak het proces in drie tot vier weken veilig en operationeel na montage door collega-monteurs. - Adviseer klanten over onderhoudsvoorschriften en het betrouwbaar gebruiken van hun installatie. - Keer binnen servicecontracten iedere twee tot drie jaar terug voor periodieke inspecties en preventief onderhoud.
