Functie omschrijving Als field service engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor zowel het uitvoeren van onderhouds-, service-, herstellings- en storingswerkzaamheden aan machines, als het in bedrijf stellen van machines en het instrueren van klanten en gebruikers.

Jouw taken omvatten onder andere het oplossen van storingen en het uitvoeren van herstelwerkzaamheden, het uitvoeren van service- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden, het in bedrijfstellen van machines en het instrueren van klanten en gebruikers over de werking en de bediening van de machines.

Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het prepareren, opbouwen en installeren van machines voor beurzen en open huisdagen, het begeleiden van fabrieks- en andere specialisten bij klanten en het verzamelen en onderhouden van vakkennis op het vakgebied. Ook dien je dagelijks schriftelijk te rapporteren over de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en vertegenwoordig je het bedrijf bij de klant. Wat er wordt verwacht van jou is dat je technische vakkennis hebt op minimaal middelbaar onderwijs niveau, en technische vakkennis van de desbetreffende apparatuur speelt in jouw voordeel.

Daarnaast heb je kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.

Je beschikt over een goed probleemoplossend en analytisch vermogen, goede representatieve omgang met klanten en eigen fabriekspersoneel op diverse niveaus, goede zelfstandige en teamwerkvaardigheden, luistervaardigheid en creativiteit.

Verder heb je een goed ontwikkeld gevoel voor serviceverlening en nauwkeurige technische vaardigheden.
