The posting

Voor een gerenommeerde vzw in de regio Gent zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Financieel Directeur. Je maakt deel uit van het managementteam, fungeert als financieel sparringpartner voor directie en bestuur en draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de verdere financiële aansturing en professionalisering van de organisatie.

Je combineert strategisch financieel inzicht, leiderschap en operationele betrokkenheid binnen een complexe omgeving met verschillende activiteiten, entiteiten en stakeholders.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Financiële strategie: Je vertaalt de langetermijndoelstellingen naar een duidelijke financiële strategie en adviseert directie en bestuur over scenario's, risico's, investeringen en belangrijke financiële beslissingen.
  • Financial planning & performance: Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor budgettering, forecasting, rapportering en performance management en bewaakt daarnaast cashflow, liquiditeit en balans.
  • Governance, risk & compliance: Je waakt over wettelijke, fiscale, audit- en financieringsvereisten en versterkt het risicobeheer en de interne controles.
  • Financiering & investeringen: Je bewaakt belangrijke financiële stromen, ondersteunt een duurzaam financieringsmodel en zorgt voor een sterke financiële onderbouwing van investeringsbeslissingen.
  • Verbonden entiteiten: Je bewaakt het financieel beheer en de governance van verschillende verbonden activiteiten en entiteiten.
  • Transformatie & digitalisering: Je professionaliseert financiële processen, systemen en rapporteringen en stimuleert verdere digitalisering en efficiëntie.
  • People management: Je geeft leiding aan een ervaren financieel team en stimuleert ontwikkeling, samenwerking, ownership en kennisdeling.
  • Stakeholdermanagement: Je werkt nauw samen met directie, management en interne en externe stakeholders en vertaalt complexe financiële vraagstukken naar heldere inzichten en aanbevelingen.
  • Je beschikt over minstens 15 jaar relevante ervaring binnen finance, waarvan een belangrijk gedeelte binnen een senior financiële verantwoordelijkheid
  • Je hebt ervaring als CFO, Financieel Directeur of senior finance leader binnen een complexe organisatie
  • Je beschikt over een sterke expertise in financial planning & control, governance, risicobeheer en investeringsvraagstukken
  • Je hebt ervaring met organisaties waarin verschillende entiteiten, activiteiten en stakeholders samenkomen
  • Je hebt ervaring met financiële transformatie, professionalisering en proces- of systeemoptimalisaties
  • Je combineert een strategische financiële visie met een pragmatische en hands-on aanpak
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en behoudt ook bij complexe financiële vraagstukken het overzicht
  • Je beschikt over sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden en hebt ervaring met het aansturen en verder ontwikkelen van financiële teams
  • Je bent een overtuigende sparringpartner voor directie, management en bestuur
  • Je communiceert helder en weet complexe financiële informatie begrijpelijk te vertalen naar verschillende doelgroepen
  • Je beschikt over een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en Engels
