The posting

Wat doe je?

  • Je begeleidt naschoolse STE(A)M-activiteiten voor kinderen van 4 tot 12 jaar in regio Limburg.
  • Je laat kinderen kennismaken met onderwerpen zoals programmeren, virtual reality, (LEGO)-robotica, engineering en creatieve technologie.
  • De activiteiten bestaan uit reeksen, waarbij je een workshop van één uur begeleid, die meestal starten aansluitend op de schooluren (bv. 15:30, 15:45, 16:00... of 13:00, 13:30 op woensdag) in een school of bibliotheek in Limburg, idealiter bij jou in de buurt.
  • Je zorgt voor een veilige, positieve en motiverende leeromgeving.
  • Je zet materialen klaar voor de activiteit en ruimt deze nadien terug op.
  • Je engageert je voor één of meerdere workshopreeksen per week, afhankelijk van jouw beschikbaarheid.
  • Je werkt samen met het team van TWA en draagt bij aan de verdere uitbouw van STE(A)M-educatie in Vlaanderen.

  • Je hebt een grote interesse in wetenschap, technologie en STE(A)M.
  • Je vindt het leuk om met kinderen en jongeren te werken.
  • Je bent sociaal, flexibel en leergierig.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en kan zelfstandig voor een groep staan.
  • Je bent bereid jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen STE(A)M.
  • Ervaring met het begeleiden van groepen kinderen is noodzakelijk.
  • Een pedagogische achtergrond of diploma lerarenopleiding is een troef, maar geen vereiste.
  • Technische kennis of ervaring met technologie is mooi meegenomen, maar motivatie, enthousiasme en leerbereidheid zijn minstens even belangrijk
