- Over DBI - Voor een internationaal opererende en innovatieve organisatie in de regio Rotterdam zoeken wij een ervaren GL Accountant . In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor een betrouwbare financiële administratie en een correct verloop van de maandafsluiting. Je werkt binnen het Record to Report (R2R)-proces en houdt je bezig met grootboekbeheer, balansreconciliaties, intercompany-afstemmingen en financiële rapportages. Je kijkt daarbij verder dan de cijfers alleen. Je wilt begrijpen hoe boekingen tot stand komen, waar afwijkingen ontstaan en hoe processen slimmer en efficiënter kunnen worden ingericht. Een inhoudelijk stevige accountingfunctie waarin nauwkeurigheid, analytisch vermogen en procesverbetering samenkomen. Finance & Control (uitvoerend) Als GL Accountant speel je een belangrijke rol in de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van de financiële verslaglegging. Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden: - Uitvoeren en controleren van grootboekactiviteiten en financiële transacties. - Verzorgen van werkzaamheden rondom de maandafsluiting. - Beheren, analyseren en reconciliëren van balans- en grootboekrekeningen. - Uitvoeren van maandelijkse Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (BSAR). - Verzorgen van intercompany-afstemmingen. - Opstellen en controleren van financiële rapportages en balansdossiers ten behoeve van audits. - Signaleren en analyseren van financiële afwijkingen, risico's en mogelijke fouten. - Initiëren en implementeren van verbeteringen binnen accounting- en R2R-processen. - Vastleggen en actualiseren van procesbeschrijvingen en werkinstructies. - Optreden als key-user en inhoudelijke sparringpartner bij financiële projecten en systeemoptimalisaties. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen Finance, waaronder de teams Order to Cash (O2C), Purchase to Pay (P2P), Financial Control en Business Partnering.
