Want terwijl tientallen lokale kantoren op de voorgrond schitteren bij hun klanten, werkt een klein en hecht team vanuit Gent achter de schermen aan de cijfers die alles laten kloppen. Geen visitekaartje, geen eigen klantenportefeuille. Wel impact op de boekhouding van tientallen kantoren tegelijk.

Over de organisatie

Denk niet aan één bedrijf met één kantoor. Denk aan een netwerk: tientallen zelfstandige accountancy-, audit- en advieskantoren, elk met hun eigen naam, hun eigen klanten en hun eigen manier van werken. Sommige bestaan al decennia, andere sloten er dit jaar nog bij aan.

Wat hen verbindt, is één overkoepelende structuur die sinds de oprichting in 1999 uitgroeide tot een organisatie met bijna 150 vestigingen en zo'n 3.500 medewerkers in België, Nederland en Luxemburg, goed voor een gezamenlijke omzet van meer dan 440 miljoen euro. Recent nog kwamen er in één beweging vijf nieuwe kantoren bij.

Elk kantoor behoudt zijn eigen DNA, zijn eigen ondernemerschap en zijn eigen klantrelaties. Wat ze wél delen, is de ondersteuning vanuit het hoofdkantoor in Gent: IT en digitalisering, HR, Advisory en... Finance.

Het hoofdkantoor ligt op wandelafstand van station Gent-Sint-Pieters. Kom je vanuit Antwerpen, Brussel, Kortrijk of de kust? Dan stap je gewoon de trein op en sta je zo aan je bureau, zonder een minuut in de file te verliezen.

Gent is intussen niet langer enkel een studentenstad met eeuwenoude gevels. De stad groeide de voorbije jaren uit tot een van de belangrijkste vestigingsplaatsen voor scale-ups en groeibedrijven in Vlaanderen, met een mix van historische charme en jonge, ondernemende dynamiek. Wat ga je doen?

Vanuit het HQ in Gent neem je de boekhouding van verschillende lokale kantoren volledig onder je hoede. Concreet:

  • Je verzorgt de maandafsluiting en staat in voor correcte, tijdige rapportering
  • Je verwerkt en controleert provisies en afschrijvingen
  • Je bereidt de jaarafsluiting voor en volgt ze op: opmaken en neerleggen van jaarrekeningen, vennootschapsbelastingaangiftes, jaarverslagen, btw-aangiftes en RV-aangiftes
  • Je bent aanspreekpunt voor de revisor tijdens de jaarafsluiting
  • Je werkt mee aan de consolidatie en de intercompany-aansluitingen
  • Je begeleidt de integratie van nieuwe kantoren in de boekhouding
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor lokale kantoorverantwoordelijken
  • Je denkt actief mee over procesoptimalisatie en digitalisering: jij ziet automatisering niet als bedreiging, maar als kans

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt 3 tot 6 jaar ervaring als GL Accountant of boekhouder A-Z
  • Je behaalde een bachelor accountancy-fiscaliteit of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring
  • Je hebt een digital mindset: interesse in automatisering, nieuwe technologie en efficiëntere manieren van werken
  • Ervaring met Exact Online is een mooie troef
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en zelfstandig, maar verliest het grotere plaatje niet uit het oog
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands; kennis van het Frans is een plus
