Onze gemeente ligt in het groene hart van Noord-Drenthe, met 35.000 inwoners verspreid over 18 dorpskernen. De standplaats is Vries. Je komt terecht in het team Veiligheid, Vergunningverlening, Toezicht & Handhaving (VVTH), bestaande uit 26 betrokken collega's. De sfeer is informeel, de lijnen zijn kort en samenwerking staat centraal. In deze veelzijdige functie coördineer je het handhavingsproces binnen het omgevingsrecht en de kinderopvang. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het toetsen van meldingen, verzoeken en adviezen aan vergunningen, bestemmingsplannen en relevante wet- en regelgeving. Daarbij onderzoek je de mogelijkheden tot legalisatie en stel je handhavingsbeschikkingen, aanwijzingen en geldinvorderingen op. Je geeft tactisch advies over handhavingsaspecten en de uitvoerbaarheid van vergunningvoorschriften. Ook behandel je bezwaarschriften, stel je verweerschriften op en vertegenwoordig je het college in juridische procedures. Je bent een stevige gesprekspartner, zowel intern als extern en weet je standpunt helder en overtuigend over te brengen. Eisen: - HBO-rechten (bij voorkeur met specialisatie staats- en bestuursrecht); - Minimaal 2 jaar werkervaring in deze rol; - Politiek-bestuurlijke sensitiviteit en het vermogen om zaken van verschillende kanten te bekijken; - Overtuigingskracht, analytisch vermogen en integriteit; - Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk; - Kennis van de Awb, Omgevingswet en Wet op de Kinderopvang is een pré; - Bereidheid om het college te vertegenwoordigen bij de bezwaarschriftencommissie (1x per maand op dinsdagavond); - En natuurlijk: een gezonde dosis humor!
