Functieomschrijving: Als havenwerker ben je dagelijks druk met het laden en lossen van schepen en treinen. Ook vrachtwagens die goederen aanvoeren horen bij jouw takenpakket. Je verplaatst de lading zorgvuldig naar de juiste plek op het terrein.

Een belangrijk deel van je werk is het vastzetten van bijzondere goederen. Je gebruikt hiervoor kettingen en speciale sjorbanden. Zo staat alles stevig vast voor het transport. Je controleert de lading altijd grondig voordat deze vertrekt.

Daarnaast houd je de werkvloer netjes en schoon. Je voert regelmatig controles uit op veiligheid. Je werkt samen met je collega's in een klein team. Iedereen volgt de instructies voor kwaliteit en veiligheid nauwkeurig op. Zo zorg je samen voor een soepel verloop van het werk.
