Voor een innovatieve machinebouwer zoeken we een Head of Engineering die de technische koers van het bedrijf mee bepaalt. Je combineert strategisch denken met technische expertise en stuurt een team van ingenieurs aan dat dagelijks werkt aan unieke machines en installaties voor duurzame toepassingen.

Een sleutelrol voor iemand die impact wil maken op technologie, innovatie én mensen.

Functieomschrijving

  • Als Head of Engineering neem je de leiding over het engineeringteam en ben je verantwoordelijk voor de technische ontwikkeling van nieuwe machines en installaties.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat projecten voldoen aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen en begeleidt jouw team bij de uitwerking van innovatieve oplossingen.

Een typische werkdag?

  • Je coacht en ondersteunt een team van 7 ingenieurs, bewaakt de voortgang van projecten en zorgt ervoor dat technische uitdagingen efficiënt worden aangepakt.
  • Daarnaast ontwerp je nieuwe machines conceptueel vanaf nul en bewaak je de balans tussen kwaliteit, kostprijs en maakbaarheid.
  • Je denkt actief mee over innovatieve ontwikkelingen en begeleidt nieuwe ideeën van conceptfase tot realisatie. Daarbij werk je ook mee aan de voorbereiding en indiening van octrooiaanvragen.
  • Samen met de directie denk je strategisch na over de verdere groei van het bedrijf, nieuwe markten en toekomstige technologische ontwikkelingen.
  • Master Burgerlijk Ingenieur of Industrieel Ingenieur Elektromechanica
  • Minstens 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring binnen machinebouw of engineering
  • Ervaring met ontwerp en realisatie van machines en prototypes
  • Sterk technisch inzicht
  • Analytisch denkvermogen
  • Ervaring met het aansturen en coachen van technische teams
  • Innovatief ingesteld
  • Ervaring met conceptontwikkeling
  • Kostenefficiënt kunnen denken en handelen
  • Ondernemende ingesteldheid

  • Goede kennis van het Frans
