Voor een vooraanstaand logistiek en multimodal transportbedrijf uit de regio Blankenberge, gespecialiseerd in het verbinden van Europese economische centra. Zoek ik een Head Procurement & Planning. Vanuit een sterk groeiende marktpositie investeert het bedrijf continu in automatisering, CO2-reductie en moderne planningssoftware. De organisatie kenmerkt zich door een open cultuur, korte beslissingslijnen en een hecht internationaal team. Wat deze onderneming vooral typeert, is haar aandacht voor efficiënte processen, stabiliteit en milieubewuste productie. Ze investeert voortdurend in optimalisatie, energiebeheer en controlesystemen om consistente resultaten te garanderen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je vertaalt lange-termijn volumeprognoses naar concrete capaciteits- en leveranciersafspraken om de continuïteit van internationale vrachtstromen te borgen.
  • Je stuurt de leidinggevenden van de plannings- en inkoopteams aan en coacht medewerkers in Zeebrugge en overzeese locaties naar betere prestaties.
  • Je identificeert capaciteitsrisico's en bouwt duurzame partnerschappen op met strategische transporteurs en logistieke dienstverleners.
  • Je adviseert de COO en directie over KPI-voortgang, kostenbesparingen, investeringsbehoeften en de verdere digitalisering van de keten.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je behaalde een Master of hebt door stevige senioriteit (10+ jaar) een gelijkwaardig denkniveau in grootschalige transport- of supply chain operaties opgebouwd.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring met leveranciersmanagement, contractonderhandelingen, Total Cost of Ownership en verandertrajecten.
  • Je bent analytisch en datagestuurd ingesteld, hebt een prima beheersing van IT-tools (zoals Microsoft 365 en TMS-pakketten) en deelt graag inzichten op directieniveau.
  • Je communiceert helder en professioneel in het Nederlands en Engels en bent flexibel ingesteld ten opzichte van occasionele reizen naar o.a. het VK en Rotterdam.
