Voor Smurfit Westrock in Turnhout zoeken we een ervaren heftruckchauffeur die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt in een 3-ploegensysteem.

In deze functie ben jij de onmisbare schakel die ervoor zorgt dat alle pallets en materialen vlot op hun plek staan, waardoor de verpakkingsmachines geen seconde stilstaan. Jouw inzet achter het stuur levert je meteen een zeer aantrekkelijk loon op, flink aangevuld met mooie ploegentoeslagen voor de vroege en late uren. Je gaat aan de slag op een veilige en stabiele werkplek met veel toekomstperspectief, waar je op termijn zelfs de kneepjes van het vak kunt leren om door te groeien naar de rol van machine-operator.

Dit neem je mee als onze nieuwe heftruckchauffeur:

  • Je hebt de afgelopen jaren veel ervaring op de heftruck en rijdt moeiteloos door het magazijn. Heb je al een geldig heftruckattest? Dan heb je direct een streepje voor!
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt vlot Nederlands. Dat is belangrijk, want zo houden we de werkvloer veilig.
  • Werken in een wekelijks wisselend rooster van 3 ploegen (vroeg, laat en de nachtshift) sluit prima aan op jouw ritme en priveleven.
  • Je bent leergierig en ziet het wel zitten om op termijn intern opgeleid te worden tot machineoperator.
  • Je bent opzoek naar en stabiele, vaste job in de regio Turnhout waar je voor langere tijd kunt blijven bouwen aan je toekomst.

Wat ga je doen? Jouw takenpakket als heftruckchauffeur:

  • Je verplaatst je soepel door de gangen van het magazijn om alle binnenkomende goederen en zware pallets direct op de juiste stelling te zetten.
  • Je zorgt dat er altijd genoeg verpakkingsmateriaal klaarstaat bij de machines. Dankzij jouw snelle werk kunnen de operators aan de lopende band zonder onderbrekingen doordraaien.
  • Samen met je collega-magazijniers stroop je de mouwen op aan de laaddocks om vrachtwagens vlot leeg te halen of juist vol te laden voor transport.
  • Je leert stap voor stap hoe je deze machine bedient. Dit is voor jou de ideale kans om praktijkervaring op te doen en later door te stromen naar de functie van machineoperator.
