The posting

Recognised apprenticeship certificate, accredited technical school qualification, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training comparable to the level of a qualified High-Voltage Electrician.

Solid knowledge of electrical theory and terminology.

Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used for the maintenance, repair and testing of medium- and high-voltage systems, including both overhead and underground systems, and associated equipment.

Good understanding of high-voltage electrical safety standards and safe working practices, including maintaining safe distances and working on energised lines and equipment.

Basic skills in work planning and estimating.

Spanish is the primary working language. Proficiency in a second language, preferably English or Portuguese, is an advantage.

Experience

At least 1-2 years of experience working in high-voltage substations.
