The posting

Een school in het hart van Europa: de Internationale Duitse School Brussel (iDSB), opgericht in 1803, is de oudste internationale school van Brussel en draagt sinds 2008 het kwaliteitslabel ‘Excellente Duitse School in het Buitenland’. Vandaag volgen ongeveer 550 leerlingen les in kleine klassen en binnen een hechte schoolgemeenschap op onze ruime, groene campus in Wezembeek-Oppem, aan de rand van Brussel. Het pedagogische team van bijna 90 medewerkers wordt ondersteund door een administratief team en de psychologisch-pedagogische dienst. De iDSB is een dagschool met een uitgebreid buitenschools aanbod en verenigt een kinderdagverblijf, een tweetalige kleuterschool met voorschoolse afdeling, een basisschool en een middelbare school onder één dak. De school biedt alle Duitse schooldiploma’s aan, tot en met het Duitse internationale eindexamen. De onderwijstaal is Duits.

Jobomschrijving

Uw verantwoordelijkheden

Als hoofd van de technische dienst en het onderhoud zorgt u er samen met uw team voor dat onze gebouwen, installaties en buitenruimten steeds veilig, functioneel en goed onderhouden zijn.

Uw taken:

  • Leidinggeven aan de technische dienst en het onderhoudsteam, bestaande uit drie andere medewerkers
  • Alle werkzaamheden van de dienst plannen en organiseren en de taken verdelen
  • Zelfstandig reparatie-, herstel- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden uitvoeren
  • Offertes aanvragen, externe bedrijven opdracht geven en de door hen uitgevoerde reparatie- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden opvolgen
  • Instaan voor het consequente onderhoud van de schoolgebouwen en -terreinen
  • Indien nodig contact onderhouden met lokale overheden, waaronder de gemeente, politie en brandweer
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding en begeleiding van evenementen
  • Ondersteunen bij de voorbereiding en uitvoering van renovatieprojecten
  • Een afgeronde beroepsopleiding in een technisch of ambachtelijk vakgebied (schilderwerken, elektriciteit, gas en water enz.) of gelijkwaardige beroepservaring
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Duits of het Engels
  • Kennis van het Frans of het Nederlands is een duidelijke troef
  • Goede fysieke conditie, stiptheid en resultaatgerichtheid
  • Betrouwbaarheid, teamgeest en klantgerichtheid
  • Kennis van brandveiligheid in gebouwen en ervaring met bouwplannen
  • Bereidheid om af en toe flexibele werktijden te presteren, bijvoorbeeld bij avondactiviteiten
