Beschrijving Als leerling hovenier draai je volledig mee in aanleg- en onderhoudsprojecten in Oudenbosch en omgeving. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit: - Aanleggen van complete particuliere tuinen - Uitvoeren van sierbestrating en grondwerk - Plaatsen van schuttingen, overkappingen en andere houtconstructies - Snoeien, planten en onderhouden van beplanting - Werken met professioneel gereedschap en moderne machines Leuk TOPS , maar wie zijn jullie precies? Wij zijn de beste bemiddelaar en opleider in het buitenwerk. Wij helpen jou concreet verder in je loopbaan en dat doen wij met veel plezier. Wij zijn een team van vrienden en met z'n allen gaan we voor successen! We halen het beste uit elkaar door te focussen op scholing, een stap extra te doen en waardering te tonen. Gewoon duidelijk en soms recht voor z'n raap, maar altijd vanuit een goed hart. En hoe ziet mijn werkdag als leerling hovenier eruit? Om de kneepjes van het vak te leren, ga je altijd mee met een ervaren collega hovenier. Afhankelijk van het leertraject dat jij kiest, werk je 3,4 of 5 dagen per week betaald mee bij de opdrachtgever. De werkdagen beginnen meestal lekker vroeg, wat betekent dat je ook weer op tijd thuis bent 's middags. Samen met je team, bestaande uit minimaal één en vaak twee collega's, rijden jullie bewapend met machines en materiaal richting de klant, waarvan jullie de tuin onder handen gaan nemen. Deze keer een flink stuk grond met veel bloemperken, een vijver en een houten prieel. Vooral de bloemperken hebben onderhoud nodig, en jullie gaan ook de vijver voorzien van beschoeiingsschotten. Jij krijgt de taak om het onkruid weg te schoffelen tussen de bloemen en de perken weer helemaal fris en fruitig te maken. Dit doe je met behulp van een schoffel, een hark en een snoeischaar, om hier en daar wat groen weg te snoeien. In je opleiding leer je veel planten kennen, en dat komt vandaag van pas.
