Hierbij worden één of meerdere vitale functies van de patiënt bewaakt, ondersteund en/of overgenomen. Het is belangrijk dat je in acute situaties snel en zorgvuldig beslissingen kunt nemen. Ook ben je het aanspreekpunt voor familie en andere disciplines binnen het team. Daarnaast participeer je als ICU verpleegkundige binnen het reanimatieteam en het Spoed Interventie Team (SIT). De opleiding Na een voorwerkperiode van 2 maanden start de opleiding in april. Gedurende 18 maanden specialiseer jij je tot IC verpleegkundige! Je start het eerste half jaar met de BAZ opleiding (Basis Acute Zorg). Na afronding hiervan ga je het uitstoomprofiel IC in. Je wordt EPA (Entrustable Professional Activity) gericht opgeleid bij de Amstel Academie. Theorie en praktijk lopen in elkaar over zodat je de theorie direct in de praktijk kan toepassen. Na het afronden van de opleiding ga je aan de slag als gediplomeerd IC verpleegkundige op de Intensive Care van het Dijklander Ziekenhuis op beide locaties. De afdeling Op onze Intensive Care (IC) staat de volledige zorg voor de IC en MC-patiënten en hun naasten centraal. De IC in Hoorn beschikt over 14 bedden, waarvan 10 operationeel. De IC in Purmerend is een onderdeel van de Acute Zorg Unit en beschikt over 4 bedden waarvan 2 operationeel. Op de afdelingen werken gespecialiseerde verpleegkundigen, intensive care practitioners, intensivisten, arts-assistenten, secretaresses en zorgassistenten nauw met elkaar samen. De verpleegkundigen op de IC hebben de opleiding tot Intensive Care Verpleegkundige afgerond of volgen deze mom...
