The posting

De Chlorine Caustic en Utilities (CCU) plant van Nobian in Rotterdam is een van de grootste en modernste chloor-alkali fabrieken in Europa en produceert met behulp van electrolyse chloor, natronloog en waterstof. De CCU plant neemt een centrale rol in binnen de cluster van op chloor gebaseerde chemiebedrijven in het Rotterdam Botlek gebied. De veiligheid en bedrijfszekerheid van onze processen is daarom van het grootste belang. Om deze op een nog hoger niveau te brengen zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren Improve Proces Technoloog voor ons Improve Process Technology team. Jouw uitdaging Als Improve Process Technoloog ben je verantwoordelijk voor een of meerdere units. In deze functie ligt de focus op de continue verbetering van de procesveiligheid, de optimalisatie van de processen en de performance van de fabriek op het gebied van betrouwbaarheid en verbruik van grondstoffen. Daarnaast houd je je bezig met: - Projecten op het gebied van energiebesparing en nieuwe toepassingen voor bijvoorbeeld waterstof. Binnen het kader van je verantwoordelijkheden is er veel vrijheid om verbetervoorstellen te initiëren en jouw unit naar het volgende niveau te brengen. - Naast je dagelijkse taken als functioneel expert ben jij de verbindende factor binnen de organisatie met een breed speelveld van werkvloer, functioneel experts van andere disciplines tot aan site management. - Als functioneel expert op het gebied van procestechnologie ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor het operationeel jaarplan en voor het bewaken van de (midden)langetermijn performance van de fabriek. - Je werkt mee aan tweedelijns trouble shooting, bewaakt de opvolging van incidenten en zorgt dat de organisatie hieruit ook lering trekt. - Je neemt een voortrekkersrol in verbeterprojecten en voer je in de eigen unit en soms ook daarbuiten onderzoeken en proeven uit in samenwerking met development engineers.
