Wij zijn namelijk op zoek naar een inkomensconsulent voor regio Overijssel. Een alleenstaande ouder zit tegenover je. De koelkast is bijna leeg, rekeningen stapelen zich op en de stress is zichtbaar. Voor die inwoner ben jij vaak het verschil tussen uitzichtloosheid en perspectief. Als inkomensconsulent kijk je verder dan een aanvraagformulier. Je onderzoekt wat iemand nodig heeft, welke regelingen passend zijn en hoe financiële rust kan terugkeren. Achter ieder dossier schuilt een verhaal en juist die combinatie van wetgeving en menselijk contact maakt dit werk bijzonder. Werken als inkomensconsulent bij de gemeente betekent dagelijks schakelen tussen gesprekken, beoordelingen en maatwerk. Je behandelt aanvragen voor levensonderhoud, minimaregelingen en bijzondere bijstand binnen de Participatiewet. Daarbij houd je oog voor de regels én voor de situatie van de inwoner. Je voert gesprekken, verzamelt informatie en maakt afgewogen besluiten. Soms is een situatie helder, soms vraagt een dossier om extra onderzoek of maatwerk. Juist dan komt jouw vakmanschap naar voren. Je zorgt ervoor dat inwoners krijgen waar zij recht op hebben en helpt hen weer grip te krijgen op hun situatie.
