Dit wordt jouw functie Als jeugdbeschermer van Alleenstaande Minderjarige Vluchtelingen (AMV) kom jij op voor de belangen van de j​ongeren bij het doorlopen van de asielprocedure en tijdens hun verblijf in Nederland. Want ook j​ongeren die hier niet zijn geboren of zijn opgegroeid, dienen onder gezag te staan van een wettelijk vertegenwoordiger. Voor de j​ongeren die zonder ouder in Nederland asiel aanvragen, voorzie jij vanuit de Gecertificeerde Instelling middels (tijdelijke) voogdij in het gezag. Daarnaast geldt dit ook voor de ondertoezichtstelling (OTS) voor j​ongeren door of voor wie een asielaanvraag is ingediend en die hierdoor verblijven in een van de opvangcentra van het COA. Vanuit jouw coördinerende rol zorg je ervoor dat alles in goede banen wordt geleid. Als jeugdbeschermer AMV begeleidt jij de j​ongeren in hun ontwikkeling naar zelfstandigheid, met betrokkenheid en respect voor de eigen culturele achtergrond van de j​ongeren. Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid over de veiligheid van de j​ongeren op je en zorgt ervoor dat je omstandigheden realiseert m.b.t. opvangsituatie. Je werkt vanuit de missie dat een j​ongere zelfredzaam en zelfstandig is wanneer hij/zij de l​eeftijd van 18 jaar bereikt en de begeleiding is gericht op perspectief. Dit kan integratie in de Nederlandse samenleving betekenen of terugkeer naar land van herkomst. Je werkt daarbij aan het versterken van de veerkracht van de j​ongeren. Door jouw kennis en ervaring/affiniteit met andere culturen, weet jij je goed te verplaatsen in en respectvol om te gaan met de culturele achtergrond van de j​ongeren. Bij deze vacature gaat het om tijdelijke inzet middels detachering. Als Jeugdbeschermer AMV ga je

- Ondersteuning bieden bij het doorlopen van de asielprocedure en tijdens verblijf in Nederland;

- Toezicht houden op het contact tussen de j​ongeren en dagelijkse begeleiders;

- Contact onderhouden met het (familie-)netwerk van de j​ongeren;

- Begeleiden en behartigen belangen van
