Een voertuig wordt niet uitgereden omdat de boordcomputer geen verbinding maakt. De radio valt weg, de displays reageren niet of een kritieke software update moet uitgerold worden naar honderden voertuigen tegelijk. Techniekers op het terrein rekenen op jou, dispatching rekent op correcte data, en reizigers rekenen op stipte ritten.

Jij bent de expert die de puzzel legt. De specialist die begrijpt hoe moderne telematica écht werkt — van modems en IP-netwerken tot CITS, driver consoles, connectiviteit en digital twins. Waarom deze rol bestaat

De Lijn evolueert snel richting een volledig geconnecteerde vloot. Telematica is daarbij essentieel: zonder werkende boordcomputer, communicatie‑ en beveiligingssystemen rijdt er geen enkel voertuig uit.

We zetten sterk in op:

  • modernisering van telematica
  • slimme monitoring digitale architectuur
  • remote updates en remote diagnostics betrouwbaarheid & veiligheid
  • innovatie in connectiviteit en dataverwerking

Daarvoor hebben we experten nodig die techniek, ICT en data combineren.

Als SMV Deskundige ben je een van de spilfiguren die onze voertuigtelematica draaiende houdt — vandaag én in de toekomst.

Jouw impact op de mobiliteit van morgen

Je wordt hét aanspreekpunt voor alle complexe telematicavraagstukken op voertuigen en

  • brengt telematica-architectuur en technische domeinen samen
  • begeleidt releases, installaties en innovatieprojecten
  • analyseert datastromen en monitort systemen ondersteunt techniekers en stuurt externe partners aan
  • bouwt standaarden, documentatie en opleidingen uit
  • zorgt ervoor dat onze telematica 24/7 betrouwbaar werkt draagt bij aan projecten rond digitale transformatie en nieuwe voertuigplatformen

Je doet dit onder meer door:

  • Diagnose & Monitoring: Organiseren van monitoring van telematica en uitvoeren van analyses; opvolgen van storingen en aansturen van lokale techniekers; diagnose en hersteladvies op componentniveau
  • Software Releases & Testing: coördineren van minor & major software releases; organiseren van testcampagnes voor nieuwe hardware & software
  • Projecten & Make/Buy: uitvoeren van make/buy‑analyses voor telematica en laadinfra; coördineren van grootschalige telematica‑installaties; technisch contractbeheer van belangrijke onderhouds‑ en servicecontracten
  • Architectuur & Innovatie: adviseren rond configuratie, compatibiliteit, security en connecteerbaarheid; detecteren van innovaties en implementeren binnen het voertuigdomein
  • Data & Service Management: ondersteunen van Maximo, PSI, diagnosetools, releasetools …; opzetten en onderhouden van ERP‑datacaptatie; interpreteren van analyses rond performance, connectiviteit, laadprocessen … Kennisdeling & Coaching: uitbouwen van standaarden, kennisdomeinen & werkwijzen; beheren van documentatie en kennisdatabanken; opleiden van serviceteams bus & tram; coachen van medewerkers en specialisten

Wie ben jij?

Je hebt een technische én digitale achtergrond en vind je weg in complexe systemen.

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende:

- Masterdiploma (technische richting, ICT of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)

- Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in telematica, ICT, E/E of connectiviteit

- Je begrijpt of leert systemen aan zoals: retibo, boordcomputer, driver console - cEMV, KAR, radio, C‑ITS - Iot en netwerkencommunicatie (5G, Wifi, LAN/WAN, …), modems, connectiviteit, audio, schermen

- Begrip van technische & security‑architectuur

- Je kan data analyseren en omzetten in acties

- Je hebt een doorgedreven kennis van scripting, query's, Linux, Microsoft Office (excel, powerpoint, ….) en gangbare analyse technieken /software

- Je communiceert helder en werkt nauwkeurig volgens voorschriften (AREI, veiligheid …)
