The posting

Bij een internationaal engineeringadviesbureau met thuisbasis in Utrecht werk je als Junior Automation Engineer aan de automatisering van productieprocessen en de integratie van industriële systemen. Je draagt bij aan projecten met PLC, SCADA, DCS en IIoT, waarbij Smart Manufacturing centraal staat. De projecten spelen onder meer binnen life sciences, duurzame energie, infrastructuur en hightech. Zo leer je hoe besturingstechniek, procesinformatie en bovenliggende softwaresystemen samenkomen in de praktijk. Je werkt in projectteams met programmeurs, consultants en architecten en stemt af met klanten en leveranciers van hardware en software. Hybride werken wissel je af met werkzaamheden op klantlocaties, verspreid over Nederland en soms daarbuiten. Als junior bouw je je technische kennis en communicatieve vaardigheden verder op met begeleiding van ervaren collega's, een gestructureerde onboarding en trainingen. Daarbij kun je je verdiepen in industriële automatisering, systeemintegratie en de samenhang tussen PLC, SCADA, DCS en MES binnen het ISA-95-model. Wat ga je doen? - Bijdragen aan de automatisering van productieprocessen binnen uiteenlopende industriële projecten - Meewerken aan het ontwikkelen, configureren en testen van PLC-, SCADA- en DCS-oplossingen - Ondersteunen bij systeemintegratie tussen besturingen en bovenliggende informatiesystemen - Meewerken aan IIoT-toepassingen en oplossingen voor Smart Manufacturing - Afstemmen over technische vraagstukken met collega's, klanten en hardware- en softwareleveranciers - Technische keuzes, testresultaten en systeemwerking vastleggen voor het projectteam Wat vragen we van jou? - Een technische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation of Biomedical Engineering - Enige kennis van of interesse in PLC, SCADA, DCS en MES - Interesse in het ISA-95-model en de samenhang tussen industriële automatiseringslagen - Bereidheid om regelmatig op klantlocaties in Nederland en soms daarbuiten t.
