The posting

Bij een internationale leverancier van procesoplossingen voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie in Heerenveen werk je aan de besturing van machines en procesinstallaties voor kaas- en poederproductie. Als junior automation engineer leer je PLC- en HMI/SCADA-systemen ontwerpen, programmeren en in bedrijf stellen. Je start op 1 september 2026 met een technisch traineeship van 18 maanden. Vanaf dag één heb je een eigen functie, met een persoonlijk ontwikkelplan dat aansluit op je groei als engineer. In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je met ervaren collega's uit automatisering, procestechniek en andere technische disciplines. Je draagt bij aan software, hardwareontwerp en FAT-tests en ondersteunt de inbedrijfstelling bij klanten. Daarbij leer je hoe besturingsarchitectuur, elektrische documentatie en procesgedrag samenkomen in een werkende installatie. Via afdelingsrotaties, trainingen en seminars verbreed je je technische basis en groei je naar zelfstandig projectwerk, van specificatie tot klantoverdracht. Wat ga je doen? - Ontwerp en specificeer automatiseringssystemen en ondersteun kostencalculaties en offertes - Werk besturingsarchitecturen uit binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams - Programmeer PLC-software en werk mee aan HMI/SCADA-toepassingen en hardwareontwerp - Voer FAT-tests uit en bewaak de kwaliteit en voortgang van automatiseringswerk - Ondersteun de inbedrijfstelling bij klanten, samen met specialisten in procestechniek - Analyseer en verhelp besturingsproblemen tijdens productie en op locatie - Draag bij aan technische klantpresentaties en projectoverdracht Wat vragen we van jou? - Recent afgeronde bachelor of master in industriële automatisering, elektrotechniek, mechatronica of vergelijkbaar - Basiskennis van Siemens TIA Portal/S7 en WinCC en Rockwell CompactLogix en PanelView - Basiskennis van MS Office; ervaring met elektrische documentatie is een pré - Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke beheersing van het Engels; Nederlands is een pré - Bereidheid om 30–.
